Sliding door installation cost — Durham, NC

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you call to discuss a new sliding door, the final cost depends on a few specific factors. First, consider the door material, such as vinyl, aluminum, or wood, as each carries a different price point. Size and configuration also play a role; a standard two-panel slider is more budget-friendly than a custom multi-slide system. We also look at the condition of your existing frame and whether any structural work is needed to ensure a smooth, energy-efficient install. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Installation costs are influenced by the complexity of the opening, whether the frame needs structural reinforcement, and the type of finish you choose. If your current frame is damaged or rotting, additional prep work is required, which impacts the total labor time. We focus on proper alignment so your door glides smoothly for years. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
